Over the past 20 years, we have advised mid-sized, owner-operated companies in succession issues. Corporate succession planning places heavy demands on the candidate’s personality. At the same time, assuming corporate responsibility is a major step even for executives already employed within a company. Our goal is to reconcile the interests of both parties.
Following an analysis of the status quo, we discuss alternative options of succession with the company’s owner and accompany the process until the handover is complete. Our network of contacts provides the sound foundation for establishing contact to potential successors, advisory councils in auditing/tax consultancy as well as prospective investors. After all, proper succession planning involves far more than merely finding a potential buyer.
